Started back at work. Full-time. 4 months. Shoot me now. This is the view from my office when I’m not *cough* working.

Northcote is graffiti. Everywhere. I love the good stuff. It earths me. Not that this is particularly good. Actually, it’s pretty crap but it still speaks to me of my ‘hood.
Mother’s Day. I love my girls. They are all kinds of awesome.

On Saturday morning, Inky came into our bed and snuggled in for a little chat. The conversation went a little something like this:
Mum: Sooooooooo. Who’s birthday is it it today?
Inky: Ummmmm, Inky’s?
Mum: No.
Inky: Ummmmmmmmmm, daddy’s?
Mum: No
Inky: Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm, mummy’s?
Mum: Yes!
[silence]
Mum: What do you usually say to someone when it’s their birthday?
Inky: [ponders deeply] Can I have a cake?????
And so we did…
Chocolate mousse and lemon curd cake from Cavallini in Clifton Hill. Best cake EVER.
